Extraction: Sage essential oil is obtained by steam distillation of the fresh leaves.
Aroma: Sage essential oil has a fresh, camphorous, slightly pine-like scent.
Fragrance note: Top.
Properties: The pure essential oil is clear and colourless.
Sage essential oil may be used in moderation to balance oily skin and sooth sensitive skin conditions. It is often used in massage to support painful muscles and joints. It is antibacterial, anti inflammatory, antiseptic and astringent.
Uses: Massage, baths, vaporization and may be added to base emollients.
Blends well with: Citrus Oils, Hyssop, Lavender, Lemon, Rosemary and Rosewood.
Caution: Sage Essential Oil is for EXTERNAL USE ONLY and it should always be diluted with a suitable carrier oil before application to the skin.
Do not use on children or pets. Do not use if pregnant or with high blood pressure or epilepsy.
