Aroma: Rosewood essential oil has a rich, sweet, slightly spicy, floral scent.

Properties: Rosewood essential oil has a rejuvenating tonic affect on the body. It has an uplifting and soothing aroma. It is antiseptic, bactericidal, deodorant and considered an aphrodisiac. It is very gentle and therefore excellent for sensitive skin. Its toning effect on the skin make it a good choice for mature skin.
Uses: Massage, baths, vaporization and may be added to base emollients.
Blends well with: Bergamot, Grapefruit, Lemon, Lime, Orange, Rose Geranium, Rose Maroc, Rose Otto and Tangerine.
Caution: Always dilute Rosewood essential oil to 5% or less in a carrier oil before application to the skin.
