Aroma: Hyssop essential oil has a sweet, fresh and herbaceous scent.
Fragrance note: Middle.
Properties: Hyssop was traditionally used to purify the mind. It has a stimulating aroma helping to ease fatigue. It is a potent antiseptic and may help minor skin conditions and digestive complaints.
Blends well with: Bay, Clary sage, Geranium, Grapefruit, Lavender, Lemon, Mandarin, Myrtle, Orange, Rosemary and Sage.
Caution: Always dilute Hyssop essential oil to less than 5% before application to skin. Hyssop is moderately toxic and neurotoxic. Avoid if epileptic, and during pregnancy.
Should not be used on children.
