Aroma: Bog Myrtle essential oil has a fresh, sweet and herbaceous scent.
Fragrance note: Middle.
Properties: The pure oil is a clear dark amber coloured liquid. It is an antiseptic and bactericide and some aromatherapists will favour it over other antiseptics for use with children as it is milder. Bog Myrtle Essential Oil has traditionally used as an insect repellent.
Uses: Massage, baths and inhalation. (With Caution).
Blends well with: Bay, Bergamot, Ginger, Hyssop, Lavender and most spice oils.
Caution: Ensure proper dilution of Bog Myrtle essential oil before use and avoid during pregnancy.
