Vetivert is also known as Vetiver is a grass commonly used in the weaving of mats.
Vetivert Essential Oil is obtained by steam distillation of the root of the plant.

The pure oil is viscous, dark brown and has a strong, warm, earthy, masculine scent.
In the Far East it is known as the Oil of Tranquility.

USES:

Vetivert Essential Oil is deeply relaxing and comforting. It is used in perfumery.

CAUTION:
Always dilute Vetivert Essential Oil to 5% or less in a suitable carrier oil before using.
