TANGERINE (Citrus reticulata)

Tangerine Essential Oil is obtained by cold pressing of the peel from the fresh fruit.
The pure oil is yellow-orange and has a light constency. Its' fresh aromatic scent is typical of citrus fruits and tangy sweet.

USES:

Tangerine Essential Oil is refreshing and rejuvenating in character.
In aromatherapy it is considered it to be sedative.

CAUTION:

Pure Tangerine Essential oil like most citrus oils can be phototoxic.
Care should be taken not to expose the skin to sunlight after a treatment.
It should be diluted to 5% or less in a suitable carrier oil before being applied to the skin.
