PEPPERMINT (Mentha piperita)

Peppermint Essential Oil is extracted from the fresh or semi-dried leaves and flowers of the herb.

The plant is cultivated in Britain, America, Europe and China, but grows world-wide.

Mint was prized in Japan and China for centuries and has been found in Egyptian tombs dating back to 1000 BC.

Pure Peppermint essential oil is nearly one third menthol, which is why it stimulates and is soothing, refreshing and cooling.

USES:

Massage, baths, inhalation, compress. Four drops in a basin will refresh tired feet. Use sparingly for massage or in the bath.

CAUTION

Peppermint essential oil is very potent, so never apply undiluted to skin, or just before going to sleep. Always use in moderation.
