ORANGE (Citrus sinensis)

Orange Essential Oil is extracted from the fresh fruit peel of the sweet orange tree.
The tree grows world-wide, but oil is produced mainly in Italy, France, Spain, Florida, California, Israel and Brazil.

Oranges are used extensively in Chinese medicine.

The essential oil is almost 90 per cent limonene, which is why it refreshes and stimulates while at the same time leaving you relaxed.

In aromatherapy it is excellent for calming children, or anyone who is over-tired.

USES:
Massage, baths, inhalation, poultice, compress.
Orange Essential Oil is useful for massage when you need to relax after a hard day but still need the energy to go out that night, or for any facial massage.
It makes an excellent body moisturiser, and, added to the bath, calms children.

CAUTION:
Orange essential oil should be used in moderation as it may irritate skin, especially if it is exposed to sunshine after application.
Store in a cool, dark place.
