NEROLI (Citrus aurantium bigaradia)

Neroli Light is recovered from water distillation and then sharpened up with other natural citrus distillates to give a very good approximation of Neroli blossom essential oil, but at a much lower price.

Neroli oil was discovered in the late 1600s and it was said to be named after Anne-Marie, Princess of Nerole, in Italy.
The Roman god Jupiter gave an orange to his sister Juno when he married her, and brides have carried the blossom to calm nerves ever since.

The essential oil has a smell that is true to nature, of wonderful bitter-orangey blossom. It is a hypnotic sedative, calming and relaxing.

In aromatherapy it is excellent for any kind of over-excitement and anxiety; and it is excellent for improving dry or mature complexions.

USES

Massage, baths, inhalation.

Since Neroli is a natural tranquilliser, use it with other relaxing oils for the sweetest bath imaginable.
It is wonderful for any relaxing massage back, scalp, neck, face, hand or foot and improves skin texture at the same time.
It is an ideal and safe oil to use during pregnancy. Inhale a few drops from a tissue or scent your entire house with its calm, sensual smell.
