Elemi Essential Oil is obtained by steam distillation from the resinous gum.

It is a thin, very pale yellow liquid with a pleasant, fresh, citrus, peppery and spicy aroma.

PROPERTIES:

Antiseptic properties, Rejuvenating, anti-wrinkle, tonic, stress releasing.

USES:

It is sometimes used in meditation, inducing a deep calm without drowsiness. A good fixative.

CAUTION:

Always dilute Elemi essential oil to 5% or less in a carrier oil before applying to the skin.
