CYPRESS (Cupressus sempervirens)

Cypress Essential Oil is extracted from the freshly picked leaves, twigs and cones of the evergreen tree.
It is native to the Mediterranean but is now cultivated throughout Europe and North America.

The Cypress tree was prized by the ancient Greeks. It was used medicinally and to make sarcophagi by the Egyptians.

The pure essential oil has a warm, woody balsamic smell and an invigorating effect.
It is astringent, antiseptic and boosts the circulation.

USES:

Massage, baths, inhalation, compress poultice.
Diluted with a carrier oil, it makes a good abdomen-to-thigh massage, for a warming hand or foot massage and an excellent leg massage.

CAUTION:

Cypress Essential Oil is perfectly safe for home use as long as it is diluted before application.
