CLOVE (Eugenia carophyllata)

Clove Essential Oil is extracted by steam distillation from the leaves. It is grown in Madagascar.
Clove oil has antiseptic and stimulating properties and is a good mosquito repellent. It has been used as a mouthwash and gargle and is comforting when rubbed onto gums.
The essential, oil has a spicy, stimulating smell and is mildly antiseptic, an uplifting tonic, warming and relaxing.
In aromatherapy, Clove Essential Oil is used as a muscle relaxant and soothing agent.
USES:
Massage, baths.
When used in massage dilute well
with carrier oil and use only locally.
CAUTION:
Clove Essential Oil is
a strong skin irritant and must be well diluted before application.
Do not use it during pregnancy.
