Cassia Essential Oil is obtained by steam distillation of the leaves from the evergreen tree.

PROPERTIES:
Cassia oil has a pungent, warm smell.
It contains tannins, sugars, resins, and mucilage, among other constituents.

USES:
Cassia is a tonic and stimulant. The oil has antiseptic properties.
Cassia essential oil is used mainly as a stomach tonic.

CAUTION:

Cassia Essential Oil is toxic and must be used with extreme caution.

Always dilute to less than 5% before using. Cassia Essential Oil may sensitize and irritate skin and the mucus membranes.
Do not use during pregnancy.
