ANGELICA (Angelica archangelica)

Angelica Root Essential Oil is extracted from the root, fruit or seed of the plant. It is grown in Belgium, Hungary, Germany and is a native of Europe.

Angelica is best known as the green, candied stem used to decorate cakes.

Angelica essential oil has an earthy, peppery, musky smell. It is an excellent digestive.

In aromatherapy, it is a germ killer. It has a calming effect and is and relaxing.

USES:

Massage, baths, inhalation, compress.

CAUTION: Angelica Root essential oil is photo-toxic, so avoid exposure to sunshine after use or it may cause skin irritations. Not to be used during pregnancy.
