Macadamia Oil is obtained by cold pressing of the nut.
The pure oil is almost clear
golden yellow; it has very little scent and has a thicker consistency than many carrier oils.
Macadamia Oil leaves an slightly oily feeling on the skin.
PROPERTIES:
Macadamia Nut Oil is higher in palmitoleic acid which promotes young soft skin than in any other known plant.
It is chemically similar to sebum, which occurs naturally in the human skin.
Sebum production diminishes as
we mature and so macadamia nut oil offers unique rejuvenating properties to mature skin.
It is readily absorbed leaving
the skin smooth, but not too greasy and is highly moisturising and nourishing, also improving elasticity.
USES:
Macadamia is an excellent regenerative oil and conditioner, especially for dry skin.
It improves skins elasticity.
CAUTION:
Macadamia Nut Oil is Not Recommended
for people with nut allergies.
The oil is highly resistant to
oxidation and so has a long shelf life when scored in cool dark conditions
