Coconut oil is highly saturated fat expressed from the kernels of the coconut.
lt is solid at room temperature. Fractionating liquifies it.

The pure oil is clear and colourless. It has a slight coconut aroma.

Coconut creates an oily, protective barrier on the skin.

USES

Coconut Oil lathers readily and is a fine skin cleanser. Excellent as a skin, hair and scalp conditioner.
It is used to create a barrier on the skin. It is also the preferred oil for high quality cold process soapers.

CAUTION

Shelf life: Coconut oil is slow to go rancid.
A minimum shelf life of 6 Months should be expected, but can be much longer with proper storage conditions. Refrigeration after opening is recommended. Stable when exposed to air.
